Neodymium disc magnet. Neodymium is an iron/boron/rare earth alloy that is currently the alloy offering the highest magnetic power.
It is coated with a nickel-chromium layer (a chromium and nickel alloy) that protects it from corrosion and gives it a more aesthetic finish.
CAUTION: The magnetic power decreases if the magnet is not in direct contact with the iron substrate.
Magnet Warning
Neodymium magnets are very powerful relative to their size. If they collide with other magnets or metal parts, there is a risk of breaking the magnets. We recommend handling them with great care.
