Foil gilding Silver
: Silverleaves
The range of Gédéo foil gilding is made of thin aluminum foil imitating gold or silver. Easier to install than the real gold leaf, and less fragile, this solution of gilding is the one that allows to obtain the most realistic result.
The leaves stick together the mix to brown on all types of supports. A soft synthetic brush will be enough to smooth the sheet. In finishing a gasoline based varnish is recommended, if you do not want the sheet to oxidize. The waxes to be skated can be applied on the sheet to achieve the effect of an old patina.
